At Lifestyle Team in Kingston we combine superb wrestling takedowns with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Working plenty of No-Gi BJJ and Gi training, we focus on the big positions and submissions of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
We will teach you guard passing, side control, knee on stomach, the mount and all the defence you will need to become an accomplished grappler. Add to that the No-Gi takedowns we practice on Monday and Thursday nights – and the exceptional and demanding Saturday takedown training sessions and you have the full grappling package.
Our takedown training sessions are a true team highlight of the week – where we learn detailed mechanics – it’s all in the set-up and we will teach you exactly how to hit slick single and double leg takedowns – combined with subtle arm drags and ankle picks to take your opponent to the mat in order to dominate with relentless pressure.
