Eddie specialises in teaching Gracie Jiu Jitsu self defence and both Eddie and Diccon are recognised by Rickson Gracie’s Global Jiu Jitsu Federation where the focus is self defence. Eddie is a Fourth Degree Black Belt.

The technical part of our lesson will elevate your heart rate to a comfortable sustainable level, therefore, helping to improve your fitness, every training session. Start your Jiu Jitsu lifestyle and you will benefit from improved physical fitness. Some people attending our BJJ lessons track the number of calories they have burnt in a training session. The number of calories expended can often exceed 800 – amazing. There’s a slow burn throughtout the technical part of our training and a high burn when we are sparring. As a result, members report a drastic improvement in their physical fitness and weight reduction. Our training is more fun than the gym and you will learn a practical self defence skill-set.
Sparring (we call it training), is optional, particularly if you have come along for a trial, but if you do decide to train, above all, we will look after you to give you a great first BJJ training experience.
