Alex has practiced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over ten years and leads the children's BJJ lessons. He designs the lessons, delivers the content, assesses needs and keeps records on progress. He is constantly assessing the children, encouraging, motivating and inspiring the children to develop their Jiu Jitsu skills.

In every way a role model, he projects enthusiasm for BJJ - the kids love his lessons. With children of his own who also attend his lessons, he is highly respected as a leader by parents and all the children. He personally promotes the children to a new BJJ belt when he and coach Curt agree that a child has progressed sufficiently, to be awarded a new level of achievement.

Alex ensures all members of our children's BJJ team make progress - praise is given, discipline instilled, fun and enjoyment, a certainty.

He has the following BJJ competition achievements:

Copa HK 2015:
1st Place -76kg
2nd Place Absolute (purple belt)

Copa HK 2016
2nd Place -76kg (purple belt)
