Lessons available six days A WEEKSuitable for people of all belt levels - complete beginners right through to the highly experienced.
We will teach you how to use your weight effectively, so you feel as heavy as possible when controlling someone. You will also learn how to fight from underneath someone and vitally, how to escape when being physically dominated or when someone attempts to submit you.
All of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu signature submissions are covered including the guillotine, arm bar, kimura, triangle, omoplata, rear naked choke and Americana.Â
A great deal of time is given to repetition to ensure that you don't just see techniques, you have enough time to develop and master them.
Our serious training in our relaxed and friendly environment ensures you improve quickly and thoroughly enjoy your time on the mat.Â
Your first lesson
We teach positions first, the closed guard, side control, knee on stomach, the mount, back control, the north south position and basic positional escapes when you are faced with an opponent who is on top of you.
Our lessons are a perfect introduction to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - we will welcome you onto our mat - our warm-up is light so there’s no need to worry about your current fitness level.
Our BJJ lessons cover absolutely everything, from etiquette, to tying the belt, the names of positions, the core principles of the system, Jiu Jitsu positional hierarchy - we will give you everything you need to begin your own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey and our hope is you embrace the BJJ lifestyle, for life.
